Maldives and Romania have signed an agreement for establishment of a consultation and cooperation mechanism. The agreement was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid.
Under the agreement, Romania will assist Maldives in the bilateral and multilateral front.
Foreign Minister arrived in Romania on a 4-day official visit and held discussions on strengthening the existing bilateral cooperation and identifying new areas of common interest.
