Maldives Labour and Social Democratic Party (MLSDP) has endorsed 10 candidates contesting in the parliamentary elections, a day before voting begins.
In a statement, MLSDP announced its decision to endorse some candidates fielded from political parties and independently. In this regard, MLSDP elaborated it has endorsed 2 candidates from Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), a candidate from Jumhooree Party (JP) and a candidate from People's National Congress (PNC) and five candidates contesting independently.
While MLSDP aims to protect the rights of labourers, it has assured faith the endorsed candidates will work towards the goal. MLSDP has also fielded 10 candidates for tomorrow's elections.
