President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Visam Ali as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Maldives to Malaysia.
President Solih presented the letter of appointment to the new ambassador, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office. Visam Ali has previously served as a Member of Parliament.
Upon her appointment, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid expressed hope relations with Malaysia will further enhance during her tenure as the ambassador.
