Ministry of Finance has issued a notice seeking parties to establish water and sewerage facilities in 11 islands.
Finance ministry issued a notice seeking parties to establish water and sewerage facilities in 8 islands which includes Fihladhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll, Finey in Haa Dhaalu Atoll, Maa-Ungoodhoo and Lhohi in Noonu Atoll, Inguraidhoo in Raa Atoll, Magoodhoo in Faafu Atoll and Gulhi in Kaafu Atoll. Furthermore, the ministry also is seeking parties to establish water facilities in Naavaidhoo in Haa Dhaalu Atoll, Maavah in Laamu Atoll and Holhudhoo in Noonu Atoll.
A bid security of USD 9,700 must be paid by the contractors interested in conducting water and sewerage projects while USD 4,850 must be paid by contractors interested to conduct establishment of water facilities as a bid security, according to finance ministry.
The ministry said the contractors will be selected as per international competitive bidding policy.
