Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed has announced South African Airways will operate more scheduled trips to Gan International Airport this year.
Tourism Minister Ali Waheed revealed he met with the management of South African Airlines, adding they highlighted the flight operations to Maldives were successful. Speaking in this regard, the tourism minister highlighted South African Airways will operate more flights to Gan International Airport will be scheduled mid year.
Moreover, Minister Ali Waheed revealed discussions are underway with South African Airways to introduce flight operations to other islands in the country. He said identifying ways to enhance tourism in South and North of Maldives are underway.
South African Airways commenced scheduled flights to Gan International Airport last year.
