President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed a managing director for the state-owned Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
In a tweet, President of Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) Mohamed Nizar said Hassan Shah has been appointed to head MTCC.
Hassan Shah had filled the position of Secretary General of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP). However, as of late, he had been involved in the activities of Jumhoory Party.
