President-Elect and Vice President-Elect will be using official residences after swearing-in

The spokesperson for the President-Elect Mariya Ahmed Didi has revealed the president-elect and the vice president-elect will be using the official residences after the swearing-in ceremony.

Speaking to the media, the spokesperson said the President-Elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will be using the official presidential residence, Muliaage. Furthermore, the Vice President-Elect will be using the official vice presidential residence, Hilaaleege.

The outgoing President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom used the official presidential residence for special meetings and as a campaign headquarter. Initially, he lived in his private residence. However, he later moved to the official vice presidential residence.

The president-elect and the vice president-elect will be sworn in on November 17.
