Deputy Speaker confident President will win big in Male' City

Deputy Speaker of Parliament of Maldives Moosa Manik has expressed confidence President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom will win a majority of votes from Male’ City in the presidential race.
Citizens of Male’ are closely monitoring the mega infrastructure development projects conducted in the city and the benefits it bring to the community, Deputy Speaker Moosa Manik said while speaking on a programme aired on PSM News. In this regard, the deputy speaker said the projects are widely appreciated by the public. Noting President Yameen has actively engaged in upholding nationality and develop the capital city in the past five years, Moosa Manik noted he is certain the president will continue the policies if he secures a second term in office.
Furthermore, the deputy speaker expressed the political sphere of the country is well known to Maldivians, especially the citizens of Male’ City. Moosa Manik said the opposition coalition will never prioritise nation over their personal preferences, adding a generation of Maldives was destroyed because of those leaders.
On conclusion, he revealed the economy of Maldives has transformed with the continuous development efforts in Maldives.
