PSM elected as vice chair of AIBD

Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) has elected Public Service Media (PSM) as the Vice Chair of the Executive Board of AIBD.
PSM was elected as the Vice Chair of the Executive Board of AIBD during the election held in Sri Lanka as part of the 17th Annual Conference. Meanwhile, India was elected as the President of AIBD and Sri Lanka was elected as the Vice President of the institute. The Executive Board of AIBD consists of 9 member countries elected for a two year term. AIBD regional inter-governmental organisation was established in 1977 under the auspices of UNESCO. It is hosted by Malaysia and its secretariat is located in Kuala Lumpur.
AIBD currently has 26 member countries, represented by 34 organisations, and 67 affiliate member organisations with a total membership of 101 representing 48 countries and regions and over 50 partners.
Public Service Media represents Maldives on different international platforms.
