Solving social issues such as parking need collective effort: Housing Minister

Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has urged to take individual responsibility in solving social issues in the country.
Parking issues and other social issues can be solved by the collective effort of all citizens, Housing Minister Mohamed Muizzu said speaking at the function held to inaugurate the mechanical car parking system installed at ADK Hospital. Numerous infrastructure projects must not be affected by such social issues, said Minister Muizzu, adding every individual must serve their individual responsibility to avoid social issues.
Noting that parking is a huge issue faced in the capital city, Minister Muizzu revealed the main aim of amending the construction regulations to equip some buildings with parking systems was to solve the issue.
The project costs over USD 225,000 and the mechanical car parking system can accommodate 19 vehicles at a time.
