Island Aviation holds a road show in China to promote Maldives as a destination

Maldives has held a special road show to advertise tourism industry in China. The road show would cover Chinese cities of Xi'an, Chongqing, Tianjin and Beijing and would conclude on April 13.
Flights operated by the national carrier, Maldivian, have expanded and currently conducts direct flights to 6 cities in China, Managing Director of Island Aviation Abdulla Haris revealed in an exclusive interview with PSM News.
Maldivian is an exemplary airline which has provided the maximum cooperation, Director of China Grand Vision Holdings Limited Xi Boa revealed in an interview. In this regard, Xi Boa noted Maldivian is expanding its flights with visionary goals. Xi Boa highlighted 50 resorts in Maldives and Chinese tour agents and journalists participates in the road show.
Almost 60,000 Chinese tourists arrived in Maldives in February 2018, which is an increase of 8%, compared to the same month of last year, according to the latest statistics published by Ministry of Tourism.
