Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has revealed that it will participate in 5 international travel exhibitions this month. The five exhibitions are scheduled to be held in Mumbai of India, Madrid of Spain, Düsseldorf of Germany, Zürich of Switzerland and Istanbul of Turkey.
At a press gathering held to announce the participation in these exhibitions, Acting Managing Director of MMPRC Haris Mohamed stated that the corporation aims to extend its scope in finding an innovative approach to reach out to the international community. Haris noted that over the years the tourism target audience has become more extended and versatile and that an innovative approach would play a crucial role in attracting new tourists to Maldives from various destinations.
He further said that international fairs and exhibitions provide an optimum platform of global exposure of the Maldivian tourism industry.
