Y18 fiesta signed Public Service Media (PSM) as its official media partner and Vaguthu Online as the official online partner. The agreements were signed by Parliamentarian of Gemanafushi constituency Jameel Usmaan on behalf of the Y18 organisers, Deputy Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM)Mohamed Ikraam and Marketing Executive of Vaguthu Online Ahmed Ashaad Abdulla.
Addressing the press conference after signing the agreements, Jameel Usmaan stated that the fiesta is all set to be organised at a grand scale and would turn out to be the biggest sports fiesta to be held in Maldives. The youth and Yes TV operated by PSM would play a huge role in making the event a huge success, noted the Parliamentarian of Gemanafushi constituency Jameel Usmaan
Speaking after the signing ceremony, Deputy Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM)Mohamed Ikraam, highlighted the importance of covering such huge events and expressed the elatedness on PSM receiving the opportunity to cover the event. He further highlighted the exemplary efforts by the administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom to develop sports in Maldives, by establishing high tech equipments to initiating the salary for national athletes.
The Y18 fiesta is touted to be the biggest sports fiesta to be held in Maldives.
