The Non-Resident Ambassador of Malaysia to Maldives, Zaidi Wan Abdullah, pays a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim.
At the meeting held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Asim and Ambassador Zaidi discussed on exploring ways to further consolidate the close bilateral ties that exist between the two countries, particularly in areas such as education, health, tourism, human resource development, trade and commerce.
Earlier, the Ambassador had presented his Letter of Credence to the President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and expressed hope and confidence to continue working closely with the Maldives, and further consolidate the existing relations between the two countries.
