Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim has met the Director of Diplomatic Academy of Turkey during his ongoing official visit to Turkey.

The Maldivian Minister met the Director of Diplomatic Academy of Turkey Mesut Özcan and discussed future collaboration with Foreign Service Institute of Maldives (FOSIM) on training of diplomats. During the visit to Turkey, Minister Asim also visited the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The Minister was welcomed in Turkey on Monday by Deputy Governor of Ankara, Bilal Bozdemir. Minister Asim is accompanied on his trip by Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Midhfa Naeem.
