Maldives Getaways ready for first ever Hotelier Summit

Final preparations for the first ever Hotelier Summit, according to Maldives Getaway. The Hotelier Summit is to be held during the Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2017.

TTM is a platform that connects the travel trade community of the Maldives to the global network of travel agents easily and instantly. Staged annually in Maldives, TTM will be the leading global event for the luxury travel trade industry of Maldives. TTM will be hosted on the 12th of July at Dharubaaruge convention centre in Male' City.

At the Hotelier Summit, Motivational Champion Paul McNeive is set to address the Summit. Also tourism industry pioneer and Chairman of Universal Enterprises and Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Mohamed Umar Maniku, will give a keynote address at the Summit.

With over 150 tourism professionals confirmed to attend, confirmed attendees include resort and hotel general managers, resident managers, key hotel owners, International travel trade stakeholders and travel industry professionals. A total of 4 panels are scheduled to take place at the summit in which more than 80 general managers from resorts and hotels of Maldives are set to take part. Various topics are set to be discussed that are significant to the Maldivian tourism industry.

TTM aims to facilitate the tourism industry of Maldives to reach the ultimate target of 2 million tourists with over 3.5 billion U.S. dollars in receipts by the end of 2020. More than 300 hoteliers, suppliers, related industries and travel professionals from Maldives and abroad are expected to visit TTM to network, negotiate and discover the latest industry opinion and trends in Maldives.
