Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and Singapore Airlines launches special promotions for the South Korean market.
The promotion offers special benefits to travelers who book their tickets and accommodation to Maldives from South Korea via Singapore Airlines website, according to MMPRC. This includes room upgrades, complimentary spa treatments and dinners from Resorts in Maldives. 16 resorts are partnering with MMPRC and Singapore Airlines for the promotion, MMPRC said. Customers can participate in the promotion by making reservations between 1st July and 30th of August.
That South Korea is one of the important markets for Maldives in terms of arrivals and has been one of the top 10 source markets. South Korean Market attracted 29,580 tourists in 2016, MMPRC added. Statistics shows that from January up until May 2017, there has been 12,720 recorded from Korea which is an 18.4% growth compared to the same period in 2016.
