Taiwan's global teahouse chain, Chatime has decided to launch its first Maldivian outlet on the day of Eid-ul-fitr.
The Chatime outlet will be located at the China Maldives Friendship Bridge viewing platform. The outlets at the bridge viewing platform will be managed by Strada Pvt Ltd. All preparations to open the Chatime outlet has now been completed and that products from the Chatime outlet will be sold at affordable prices, according to the company.
Chatime operates over 1,000 outlets in 30 countries. In 2006, it opened its first store outside of Taiwan in California, and it has since expanded to China, Malaysia, Canada, the Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, India, Dubai, Japan and Korea, among others. The platform is to host outlets of various international brands.
