No Maldivians injured following attack in London

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revealed that the government of Maldives is monitoring the situation of Maldivians following the attack in London, United Kingdom.

No reports of any Maldivians sustaining any injury was reported, according to the Foreign Ministry. On Twitter, the Foreign Ministry condemned the deadly in London, saying Maldives stand against all such acts of terror perpetuated against innocent people.

Foreign Ministry urged all Maldivians in London to stay safe and avoid the London Bridge and Borough Market areas and to follow the instructions and guidance of local authorities.

London Police have confirmed nine deaths in the attack so far, including six people killed by attackers and the three attackers who were shot by the police. Police said three attackers drove a vehicle into pedestrians on London Bridge and then stabbed people in Borough Market.
