14th South Asian Management Forum concludes

Maldives National University (MNU) has announced plans to hold the country's first "International Research Conference" in October 2017.

Announcement regarding the proposed conference titled "Theveli 2017" was made at the closing ceremony of South Asian Management Forum held at Bandos Island Resort. The closing ceremony for the 14th South Asian Management Forum was held at Bandos Island Resort, Wednesday night.

Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor of Maldives National University, Dr. Ali Fawaz, announced plans of holding the country's first ever "International Research Conference" in October 2017. The Vice-Chancellor said that the country do not have a long history in the field of research, but that MNU is working towards directing vital development to the nation, in this front.

The proposed International Research Conference 2017 will be held under the theme of "Think Towards Sustainable Society" from October 2, 2017 to October 3, 2017. Dr. Fawaz said he believes this conference will be beneficial for those who are interested in the field of research in the country.

The 14th South Asian Management Forum was held by Maldives National University's Business School in collaboration with Asian Management Institute for Development South Asia, (AMIDSA). The forum this year was held under the theme "Governance and Public Policy- Role of Management Development."
