The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim, has returned to Male’ today after concluding a successful official visit to Pakistan.
During the visit, the Minister paid a courtesy call on Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan. Minister also met his counterpart, the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Sartaj Aziz and reviewed the scope of bilateral relations between the two countries. The Minister also delivered a speech at the Foreign Service Academy of Pakistan on the relations between the Maldives and Pakistan.
Minister Asim also visited the Embassy of Maldives in Pakistan and met with the Maldivian students studying in Islamabad.
