Al Manal TV proposes to provide religious content required by PSM

Al Manal TV of Sudan has proposed to provide religious content required by Public Service Media (PSM) and to provide assistance capacity building of PSM staff.

Al Manal TV made the proposition at a meeting held between the President of the Maldivian Centre for the Holy Quran, Ustad Ibrahim Rasheed Moosa, who is currently visiting Sudan, and the Chairman of Al Manal TV's Board of Directors, Dr. Moosa Abdul Raoof. Ustad Ibrahim Rasheed Moosa said that Al Manal TV is already licensed to broadcast its content on channels of PSM and that some programs have been presented to PSM. The Chairman of Manal TV pledged to make necessary arrangements to provide media related training for Maldivians, via Manal TV, he added.

In his visit to Sudan, Ustad Ibrahim Rasheed Moosa also met with the Managing Director of Islamic Call, Sheikh Kamal Hassan Rizq. In this meeting, discussions were held about professional and academic aid required to expand the scope of the Centre for the Holy Quran in Maldives.

Sheikh Kamal Hassan Rizq would act as a focal point in getting necessary services from Sudan, according to Ustad Ibrahim Rasheed Moosa.
