Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has announced its official endorsement of the Tatabye Maldives Four-City Roadshow, organised by Tatabye Tours, an India-based island destination specialist and a leading producer for the Maldives.
The multi-city, business-to-business trade initiative is set to be one of the largest Maldives focused roadshows in the Indian market, with participation from 25 luxury resorts from across the Maldives.
The roadshow will take place between 31 March and 4 April 2026, spanning four cities in western India: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Pune. Each event will bring together travel agents, tour operators and tourism stakeholders, providing opportunities to engage directly with representatives of some of the Maldives’ most prominent resorts.
The initiative is intended to strengthen the Maldives’ brand presence within the Indian travel trade, increase awareness of the destination and support the development of partnerships between Maldivian resorts and Indian travel professionals. It will also offer a platform for one-to-one meetings, networking and destination presentations, highlighting the Maldives’ range of tourism experiences, including luxury, romance, wellness, diving and marine activities.
Tatabye Tours has built a reputation over the past decade as a key operator for Maldivian resorts in the Indian market. The company holds direct contracts with more than 130 properties in the Maldives, enabling it to offer competitive pricing, real-time availability and exclusive packages to travel partners. The endorsement by Visit Maldives underscores Tatabye Tours’ role in promoting the Maldives as a leading travel destination and supporting service delivery to industry partners.
India remains a significant source market for Maldivian tourism. Initiatives such as this roadshow form part of a broader strategy to sustain destination visibility, strengthen trade relationships and encourage increased travel from India to the Maldives.
