President and First Lady to exchange Eid greetings with the public

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed are scheduled to exchange customary Eid ul-Fitr greetings with members of the public this year, President's Office has announced.

The reception will take place at the President’s Official Residence, Mulee’aage, from 0900hrs to 1100hrs on the day of Eid.

The President and the First Lady have extended an invitation to a broad cross-section of the community, including members of the public, state dignitaries and the diplomatic corps.

Representatives of state-owned and private enterprises, as well as delegates from non-governmental organisations, have also been invited to attend the gathering.

The President and the First Lady have expressed a particular wish to welcome families to the event, encouraging children and young people to take part in the festive exchange.

Specific access arrangements have been put in place to ensure the orderly conduct of the event. Visitors are requested to enter the grounds through the main gate of Mulee’aage on Medhuziyaaraiy Magu, with access facilitated via Shaheed Abdulla Zuhair Hin’gun.
