Parliament approves Dr Rameela as HRCM President

The Parliament has approved Dr Aishath Rameela for the position of President of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).

Nominated for the position by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, the nomination was accepted by the Parliament's Human Rights and Gender Committee on 5th January.
