Business Center Corporation (BCC) has launched a special webinar series on the occasion of the international day of Micro, Small and Medium- sized Enterprises (MSMEs).
The webinar series, which is open to the public, will run from 29 June 29 to July 2.
The webinar series will provide important information to entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium enterprises such as conducting digital transactions securely, seeking assistance from financial institutions to promote businesses and filing tax returns with the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).
Online registrations for participation in this webinar series is now open with the registration link and other relevant information available on BCC's social media platforms.
The BCC has decided to conduct these information sessions online as a webinar series to provide the public with the opportunity to participate in these sessions easily from anywhere in the world.
BCC has also conducted information sessions at business centers in different Atolls in connection with MSMEs Day.
BCC is a State-owned Enterprise incorporated in 2017 as the implementing body of MSME development projects initiated by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. Its main objective is to create an enabling and inclusive business environment for MSMEs, through various support mechanisms geared towards assisting small businesses to sustain, scale, and grow.
On the occasion of this year’s MSMEs Day, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu had assured that the government remained committed to empowering MSMEs through inclusive financing and improved access to markets.
