BML Asks Customers to Update Mailing Address for Card Delivery

Maldives’ national bank, Bank of Maldives (BML) has asked its customers to update their respective mailing addresses to ensure the smooth delivery of their debit and credit cards.

BML said in a statement that the bank is facing some difficulties in delivering cards directly to customers' homes through Maldives Post Limited. BML has advised customers to update their mailing addresses to avoid such inconveniences.

BML’s Head of Brand and Marketing Strategy Mohamed Saeed said the bank is dedicated to providing a convenient and secure service to its customers. However, some customers are not living at the address provided to the bank, he noted.

"Sometimes the permanent address is also given as the mailing address. So, we urge you to update your address through the Internet Banking and Mobile Banking apps,” he said.

BML has assured that the card will not be activated until it reaches the customer, which can be done directly by the customer through the internet or mobile banking app.

BML is using the Maldives Post Limited to deliver its cards to customers in the greater Male’ region. However, cards are delivered to customers in the Atolls by the BML staff.
