An agreement has been signed between the Maldives Police Service (MPS) and the Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO) to develop the sports facilities of the Villimale’ Police.
Under the agreement, the sports facilities at the Villimale’ Police will be developed for mutual use, MPS said.
The agreement signing ceremony was attended by the heads of the two institutions. Deputy Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen signed the agreement on behalf of MPS, whileManaging Director Mujthaba Jaleel signed on behalf of WAMCO.
MPS said the agreement will further develop sports facilities in Villimale’, promote a healthy lifestyle and empower people to stay healthy. In addition, this project will strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and the community of Villimale’, it added.
Under the agreement, the Villimale’ Police football ground and volleyball court will be further developed along with additional sports facilities.
