Nominations open for South Asian Travel Awards (SATA)

Nominations are now open for the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA). 

Event management company Highrise, who have done events in Kerala, Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo and Dubai, will be organising and managing the awards.

The company said SATA, which is the first regional tourism award endorsed by multi national associations, aims to improve the service standards within the region’s tourism industry.

Winners will be selected in 37 categories by the public through online voting and will be judged based on the standard of facilities and service excellence, according to High Rise.

Nominations for the awards will remain open till August 15th. The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in October 2016.
