President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed met members of the public to exchange Eid al-Fitr greetings.
The gathering took place from 9:30am to 11:00am at Mulee'aage, the official residence of the President.
Cabinet ministers, ministerial-ranked officials, members of parliament, state ministers, foreign diplomats, heads of Government offices, and senior officials from various sectors also attended to exchange Eid greetings.
Members of the general public and their families were also present at the gathering.
The President and First Lady will also take part in the official celebrations hosted by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) later on Sunday at Sultan Park, Republic Square, and the Islamic Centre area.
