Development Bank’s CEO Resigns from Post

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Maldives’ first development bank, the Development Bank of Maldives Limited, (DBML) Noel Gregor Paterson-Jones has resigned from his position.

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) confirmed that it has received and accepted Paterson-Jones’ resignation.

Noel Gregor Paterson-Jones, a UK national, was appointed as the CEO of the Development Bank on 26 August last year.

The Development Bank of Maldives was established to provide loans at low interest rates for key development projects and large-scale private investments. The bank was officially inaugurated on 16 November last year.
