IGMH to open new ICU in September

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, IGMH has said its new intensive care unit will be completed and opened before the end of September.

Speaking to PSM News, IGMH Director Ahmed Mausoom said the new unit, which is being built to modern standards, is expected to ease space constraints.

The state-run hospital also says it is now working to acquire machinery and equipment required for the new ICU which is being constructed on the former emergency entrance space.

The Government is undertaking several projects to upgrade services provided at the country’s biggest tertiary hospital.
