Ibrahim Imaz, Adam Naseem and Abdulla Thoalib were confirmed the finalists of Public Service Media’s “Emme AligadhaThari” Quran Competition on Friday night with the elimination of Ibrahim Mohamed and Abdulla Mufeed.
The three will battle it out in the grande finale of the competition to be aired on Tuesday.
PSM’s “Emme AligadhaThari”, broadcast every Ramadan, is sponsored by Sharia-compliant insurance provider AYADY Takaful.
This is the fourth edition of the programme with each of the previous three winners earning 100 thousand rufiyaa in prize money.
This year’s edition also offers valuable prizes, including the prize money of half a million rufiyaa and a full scholarship from Maldives Islamic University to the winner, and Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage tours.
PSM describes the programme as an initiative to instill love for Quran among the people.
