Defense Minister Adam Shareef Umar on Monday visited the construction site of the SIFCO Hiya housing flats, designated for army personnel.
During the visit to the site in Hulhumale, the Defense Minister met with officials of Island Experts Private Limited, the contractor of the project, and inquired about the progress of the work of the 300 housing flats.
According to the company, working is now progressing on the foundation of Tower A, ground-beam reinforcement in Tower B and work to raise the columns on Tower C of the condominium.
