Economic Ministry said priority will be given to further enhance investor relations at the 3rd Maldives Investment Forum to be held in India this year. This year’s forum is scheduled to be held in the Indian Capital New Delhi in August.
The Maldives Investment Forum is held to provide international investors information on investment opportunities in Maldives. The first Maldives Investment Forum was held in Singapore, followed by the second forum in Beijing, China.
Speaking to PSM News about the third investment forum, Deputy Economic Minister Adam Thaufeeg said this year’s forum will target all fields and that State-owned and private companies will participate in the forum. He said that special activities to promote the country will also be held during the forum.
