President appoints Farhad as member of Judicial Service Commission

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Farhad Rasheed as the lower court representative in Judicial Service Commission (JSC), at a special ceremony held today in the President's Office. He was appointed to the position, in accordance with the Judicial Service Commission Act.

During the ceremony, the Supreme Court Judge Ali Rasheed Hussain administered the oath of office. After the oath-taking ceremony, President Dr. Muizzu presented the official letters of appointment to the newly inducted member.

Since 2013, Farhad has been providing services as the Judge of the Civil Court of Maldives. He has earned a Bachelors Degree in Shariah and Law from the Maldives College of Islamic Studies.
