Secretary General of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Golam Sarwar has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer.
Upon receiving the SAARC Secretary General, the Maldivian Minister congratulated him on his appointment as SAARC's 15th Secretary General and expressed confidence in his leadership and guidance in steering SAARC to attain its goals. Additionally, Minister Zameer and Secretary General Sarwar exchanged views on reviving SAARC and emphasized the importance in regional matters.
During the meeting, Minister Zameer was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Additional Secretary Mohamed Faisal and Assistant Director Leen Fazeeh. Secretary General Sarwar was accompanied by Director at SAARC Secretariat Shahiya Ali Manik and Director, SAARC Secretariat Bhavesh R. Trivedi.
