The Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has launched a familiarization program to its employees. The programme aims to familiarise the employees with the company's cargo operations.
The programme was inaugurated by the CEO of MPL Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim. Following the inauguration, Wajeeh noted that the programme would help facilitate the company's operations without any halts, even in cases of emergencies. After the inauguration ceremony, the CEO and top management officials of the company inspected the cargo operations.
The company aims to complete the programme within two weeks, with a clear understanding of the work, starting from the top management of the company to the average staff. During the programme, the staff would be briefed on the operation of tugs, ships, and barges. They will also be detailed on the challenges faced in the operation process.
