Fenaka installs 43 new generators installed across various islands

Fenaka Corporation Limited has revealed the acquisition and installation of 43 new generators across various islands to enhance the electricity infrastructure in the Maldives.

Fenaka identified the need to upgrade generator capacity on many islands where it provides electricity services at the beginning of the year. As a result, numerous generators required overhauling. Under new management, Fenaka has begun efforts to address these issues, initiating the procurement of new generators. As such, new generators had been delivered to 20 islands by the end of the first quarter this year, resolving previous electricity generation challenges.

Fenaka has not only purchased and installed 43 additional generators but also carried out necessary overhauls and engineering work across several islands. This year, the company has made significant strides in improving generator performance and increasing generation capacity.

Fenaka said that the electricity situation on many islands has improved overall compared to the start of the year. Ongoing efforts include further overhauls, procurement of spare parts, and additional generator purchases. The company is also committed to enhancing these facilities and ensuring a sustainable electricity service.
