MIFSA launches its official logo

The Maldives International Financial Services Authority (MIFSA) has launched its official logo.

MIFSA was established in January this year under President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's authority and operates within the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. Former Vice President Abdulla Jihad serves as the Chairperson of the authority.

In a post on social media, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed expressed his satisfaction in launching the logo on social media. He emphasised the authority's commitment to crafting a robust governance, strategy, and operational framework to fulfil its vision of economic development.

MIFSA was created to enhance the legal framework for onshore financing services, complementing the offshore services offered under the Special Economic Zone Act. Its mandate includes establishing offshore and onshore development banks, international financial centres, and researching modern solutions to legal and administrative challenges in the financial market, fostering a competitive system in the Maldives.
