Former President Solih casts ballot in parliamentary election

Former President and Maldivian Democratic Party's (MDP) Advisor Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has cast his vote in the parliamentary elections.

Notably, Former President Solih cast his vote at a polling station based in Jamaluddin School at 1030hrs. Following his vote, he urged the public to exercise their right by voting promptly. He further stressed that voting is a constitutional right, emphasising the importance of every citizen fully exercising this right to ensure the country's substantial progress.

In the ongoing parliamentary elections, MDP has nominated candidates to contest in 89 constituencies.
