Thilafushi Phase II land plots open for purchase for commercial use

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the opening of applications for the purchase of 108 plots of land designated for commercial purposes in Thilafushi.

Interested parties can submit their applications online through the HDC bid portal at https://bids.hdc.mv/ following the registration process. The available plots vary in size, with 64 plots ranging from 2,500 to 4,999 acres, 42 plots ranging from 5,000 to 9,999 acres, and 2 plots ranging from 10,000 to 14,999 acres.

Thilafushi is undergoing rapid development to become the primary commercial and industrial center within the Male' region. Currently, it hosts various industrial activities such as cement sealing, gas bottling, and boat building. HDC's plans include relocating the international port to Thilafushi, along with providing modern facilities for clearing goods, warehousing, and distribution to Male'. Additionally, the upcoming Thilamale' Bridge is expected to streamline transportation and logistics, facilitating timely delivery of goods to businesses.

Emphasising their commitment to adhering to government regulations, HDC reassured stakeholders that projects are executed in accordance with the national development agenda.
