Manta Air to begin direct flights to India

Manta Air is scheduled to commence direct flights to India in January. This would be the first time Manta Air launched international flights.

Manta Air will initiate flights from Dhaalu Airport in the Maldives to Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore, India, starting January next year. The flights will include a transit at Velana International Airport (VIA), with Dhaalu Airport serving as the airline's primary hub. Manta Air anticipates that the introduction of direct flights to India from Dhaalu Airport will bring enormous benefits to the region, particularly the resorts.

Manta Air has outlined plans to operate three weekly flights on this route. The departures from the Maldives to Bangalore are scheduled for the evening, while the return from Bangalore to the Maldives is set for the morning.

Manta Air was officially launched in November 2018 and flights officially commenced in February 2019. Manta Air is a dometic airline that has made progress in a short period of time. In addition to its core services, the airline is also manages seaplane operations.
