President-elect says he will fulfill every one of his pledges

President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that citizens will see every one of his pledges fulfilled. He made the remark while launching his roadmap for the first 100 days in office.

The Week-14 Roadmap consists of eight sections with 161 pledges. The sections include Freedom and Sovereignty, Islam and Nationalism, Housing and Infrastructure Development, Economy and Environment, as well as Women, Youth, Arts and Sports. They also include Healthy and Compassionate Society, Education and Training, and Government Policy and Legal Reform.

Speaking at the ceremony, President-elect Muizzu said that the roadmap is his plan for the first 14 weeks in office. He assured that he will also focus on the budget and revenue generation and commence further projects while following the roadmap. He added that he will work day and night to fulfill his pledges and produce results for the citizens. As such, he said that the roadmap is the minimum of what he will achieve as part of his manifesto.

At the ceremony, a book was released consisting of President-elect Muizzu's speeches during his campaign. The book was presented by Chairperson of the People's National Congress (PNC) Abdul Raheem Abdulla. The book includes all of Muizzu's speeches from August 7 to September 29. The book, which has a total of 900 pages, includes photographs of each place he visited during his campaign and the pledges he has made to the various communities. Muizzu visited 153 islands and five cities during his campaign and held 205 community meetings.
