Prosecutor General (PG) Hussain Shameem has visited the Galolhu Police Station as part of a collaborative programme between the Maldives Police Service (MPS) and the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO), to improve and strengthen the quality of criminal investigations.
During the visit, PG Shameem examined the facilities within the Galolhu Police Station and engaged in discussions with the investigative personnel. The discussions centred around exploring avenues for support that the PGO could extend to various activities within the station. As part of the ongoing initiatives, he also inaugurated a special programme aimed at providing legal advice and guidance to facilitate the resolution of pending cases at the station.
PG Shameem was accompanied by Deputy PG Ali Sameer, Assistant PG Abdulla Rabiu, Assistant PG Shamra Shameem, and other officials from the PGO.
