Qasim Ibrahim, the presidential candidate from the Jumhooree Party (JP), has laid out his vision to modernise the education landscape during a campaign event in Henbandhoo, Noonu Atoll.

Emphasising his commitment to education reform, Qasim announced his plan to revamp computer labs across all schools in the nation and introduce smart boards in classrooms if elected. He stated this announcement underscores his dedication to advancing the education sector under his potential leadership.

During the event, Qasim pledged several initiatives aimed at Henbandhoo's progress. He pledged reclamation efforts for the island and affirmed his commitment to constructing a state-of-the-art football field, catering to the recreational needs of the local youth.
