President assures Dharanboodhoo's development aligns with youth aspirations

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has reaffirmed the administration's unwavering commitment to the development of Dharanboodhoo, specifically focusing on the aspirations and needs of its youth. He made the remark during a meeting with the residential community of Dharanboodhoo as part of his official visit to Faafu Atoll.

The meeting took place at the harbour area of Dharanboodhoo, where the residential community expressed their concerns regarding challenges related to accessing employment opportunities, the lack of adequate sports facilities, and the absence of sports competitions to foster social connections.

In response to these concerns, President Solih acknowledged the issues raised by the residential community and reiterated the administration's commitment to addressing them. He assured the community that the government would provide comprehensive details on strategies to overcome budget constraints and fulfill the significant pledges made to the people.

During his official visit to five islands in Faafu Atoll, President Solih actively engaged with the residential communities, attentively listening to their concerns, participating in discussions, and gathering valuable insights to drive the development of the islands.
