Vice President Faisal Naseem has encouraged individuals to be catalysts for improved public service delivery. He made the statement while addressing the closing ceremony of the Train the Trainees programme conducted as a part of the Government Experience Exchange Programme (GEEP) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In his address held at Hotel Jen Maldives, Vice President Naseem thanked UAE for its cooperation and assistance in promoting the public sector of the Maldives. He also acknowledged the valuable opportunity to learn from the experience of UAE and emphasised the importance the Maldives has towards public service delivery and public sector reform.
A total of 50 participants successfully completed the programme, which has provided comprehensive training in the latest theories, concepts, best practices, and techniques, related to elevating the quality of public services. The programme was successfully implemented with the joint efforts of the Civil Service Commission of the Maldives (CSC), the Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI), and the Foreign Relations Office.
