Gov't contracts to build educational institution in Hulhumale'

Urbanco has contracted Oman-based company Al-Madina Investments Private Limited for the development of an educational institution in Hulhumale'.

The agreement was signed by the Managing Director of Urbanco Ahmed Athif and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Al-Madina Investments Ali Ahsan. Under the agreement, the institution will be established in Hulhumale' Phase I. However, the details of the services provided by the institution have not been specified.

Unrbanco and the government are working to provide the necessary facilities for the rapidly growing population in Hulhumale'. As such, Urbanco stated that the construction of Ajial Bilingual School is also currently underway in Hulhumale' Phase II with the assistance of the Kuwait Fund. The new school, which will have modern facilities, will be run as an international bilingual school for kids in lower kindergarten through twelfth grade, providing instruction in both English and Arabic.
