Care Society has decided to sign a contract to develop a centre called Hiya Annex in Hulhumale' Phase II focusing on rehabilitation and intervention services.
The contract to develop the centre was signed between Care Society and Urban Real Estate Company. The centre will be located on the ground floor of Hiya Flat H-1. The non-governmental organisation (NGO) said that the development of the centre will be completed by the end of June and begin services latest by August.
The centre will provide early identification and early intervention to develop various skills in children's early years. It is mainly aimed at children under six years of age. The centre will also run a vocational programme. The programme is aimed at teaching children how to earn an income or prepare them for employment.
